Ama Dablam Expedition – 2018/2019

Trip Overview

The normal route to climb Ama Dablam is from its south west ridge. Most mountaineering beginners start climbing with Mount Ama Dablam. Ama Dablam is a small, snowcapped peak of 6,812m lying in the Everest region. This south west ridge is the normal and most popular route to ascend Mount Ama Dablam. This mountain is considered to be one of the most stunning and technical peaks in the Himalayas and one of the most impressive mountains in the world. Mountaineers have to cross difficult ice rocks and steep snow climbs on their route. Mountaineers usually have to pitch three high camps while climbing Ama Dablam (6,812m).

From the top of Mount Ama Dablam the charming scenery of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Island Peak, Makalu, Khumbu Himal and rest of the snowcapped surrounding mountains can be seen.
