Mt. Manaslu Expedition

Trip Overview

Manaslu is one of the popular 8,000m peaks for climbing in Nepal. Possible avalanches in bad weather, crevasses and slippery snow make this mountain a little distinct from other mountains in Nepal. Normally, four camps will be set up in the approach of the mountain. There will be a few stretches of steep climbing and crevasses from Camp 1 to Camp 2. Slippery snow climbing is required from Camp 2 to Camp 3. Avalanches are a threat from Camp 3 to Camp 4.

Trip Includes

Permit and other charge

Expedition Royalty and permit of Nepal Government to climb Mt. Manaslu, National park & TIMS permit, conservation entry fee.

Arrival and Departure

Airport – Hotel transfers – Airport (Pick Up and Drop).

Hotel Accommodation

4 night hotel accommodation in KATHMANDU at the BB plan in twin sharing basis.

Welcome Dinner

Welcome Dinner in member’s standard restaurant in Kathmandu with Mountain Experience Staffs’.

Cargo Clearance

International Air cargo clearance of Member Personal Luggage & Payment of Government taxes in Nepal. (before the expedition).

Liaison Officer

One Government Liaison officer with full equipment ($2,600), salary and accommodation.

Garbage Management

Stool Shipment Transfer & Garbage Deposit fees.

Helicopter flight/Transportation

All the airport pick up and drop.
Kathmandu – Samagon flight by Helicopter / Samagon – Kathmandu flight by Helicopter ( per helicopter 4 person )
The entire groups transport in Nepal as per itinerary, necessary all equipment Transportation for all Members and Staffs, Land Transportation: Kathmandu – Besisahar Dharapani and while returning Arughat – Kathmandu.
Necessary all equipment Transportation for all Members and Staffs From Kathmandu to Besisahar Dharapani by jeep or truck and by porter to Sama Gaun – Base camp by porter while returning Arughat – Kathmandu.

Insurance

For Sherpa, cook and Porters staff insurance, Emergency Evacuation, medical and rescue insurance during the Expedition.

Member Luggage

Up to 60 Kg per member for personal baggage during the trek carrying by porters or Yaks.

Food & Fuel

Food 3 meals a day (BDL; including tea and coffee) along with accessible accommodation at Hotel/Lodge/Tea house/during the trek and Basecamp. Well-managed base camp set up for member & Staffs.
High food for members and other necessary, Sherpa C1, C2, C3 and C4 food

Tents

Base camp tent: Each tent per member will have Kailas tent
High altitude tent: 1 HA tent per 2 members
At Base Camp Dinning tent, Kitchen tent, Toilet tent and Shower tent, staffs tent, and cooking sets for Base Camp, Foam Mattress, Pillow per member, Insulate Mattress, Tables, Chairs and all necessary cooking gears.
Heater:Heater for base camp in each Dining and other necessary camp.

Oxygen

6 bottles oxygen. (5 bottles for member and 1 bottle for Sherpa)
2 set mask and regulators
Emergency Oxygen -Mask and regulator (If used, It will be paid it from user)

Light

Solar panel/generator at base camp for recharging

Radio

BC Base station 1, Walkie-talkie per member 1

Epi gas, Epi gas stoves, high cooking pot sets, Insulate Mattress, sleeping bag in mountain etc.
Foam Mattress, Pillow per member, Insulate Mattress, Tables, Chairs and all necessary cooking gears.
Gammo bag(chamber bag) at base camp for medical propose, medical kits
