Rolwaling Tea House & Camping Trek

Trip Overview

The Rolwaling Valley is on east west valley close to the border with Tibet between the Tamba Kosi and the Khumbu Himal areas. For many years the valley was closed to trekking, but access is now granted providing that the party has permission to climb either of the two trekking peaks in the area; Ramdung or Parchamo.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to your hotel
Day 2: Morning Half day sightseeing and afternoon trek briefing
Day 3: Kathmandu drive to Jagath ( 1250m) camp other side of river.
Day 4: Jagath trek to Simigoan 2025m) 5-6 hrs
Day 5: Simigoan trek to Donga ( 2800m) 5-6 hrs lovely camp side by river.
Day 6: Donga trek to Bading Sherpa Village ( 3690m) 5-6 hrs
Day 7: Beding ( Rest day for Acclimatize or exploration day
Day 8: Beding trek to Na lunch and Camp ( 4185m) 3-4 hrs
Day 9: Na ( Rest day ) or Excursion towards Yalung pass and glacier views
Day 10: Na trek to Nyiduk Kongma ( 4750m) 5-6 hrs
Day 11: Nyiduk Kongma to Drolumbau glacier ( 5205m) 5-6 hrs
Day 12: Drolumbau glacier to Tashi Lapcha pass ( 5755m) and decent to camp at ( 5460m) 4-5 hrs
Day 13: Camp to Thame village ( 3805m)6-7 hrs
Day 14: Thame to Namche ( 3440m) 4 hrs
Day 15: Namche rest day exploration
Day 16: Namche to Lukla
Day 17: Lukla fly back to Kathmandu transfer to Hotel
Day 18: Kathmandu free day evening farewell dinner by Mountain Experience
Day 19: Departure
