Trip Overview
Perhaps this trek (over two passes on two mountains) is a long cherished dream of yours? Ideal for hikers looking for a little more challenge and want to stay “off the beaten path”.
Known for a series of holy and beautiful turquoise blue lakes in the Gokyo Valley and Reno La Pass (5357m), lead us through the high alpine region. Seat of the gods, the locals call Sherpa, their mountains. The Gokyo Ri (5357m) and the lesser-known Sundar Peak (5368m), which is located above the mountaineering village of Thame and still counts as a small secret tip, are “only” There are best views in the Everest area., but the view from your peaks is also divine.
Day 1 – Arrive Kathmandu transfer to your hotel,open your arrival a representative from Mountain Experience team will warmly welcome you and transfer to your hotel booked.
Once you checked in your hotel we will collect your passport for administrative purpose as well as copy of your insurance details and any outstanding balance
payment if they were not paid earlier.
Day 2 – Kathmandu after breakfast, you will meet our Mountain Experience team for a pre- Trek briefing about the Gokyo – Renjo pass and Sunder Peak. At this time we will
also provide the trekking equipment included in your package including duffle bag, Sun hat, Trekking map and sleeping bag. After lunch drive to Ramechhap.
Day 3 – Ramechhap fly to Lukla. Trek Monjo (2835m) over night Lodge
Day 4 – Trek Namche Bazaar (3440m) over night Lodge
Day 5 – Namche Bazaar- acclimatization optional hike to Everest view hotel
Day 6 – Trek Dole(4110m) over night Lodge
Day 7 – Trek Machermo (4470m) over night Lodge
Day 8 – Trek Gokyo (4790m) over night Lodge
Day 9 – Gokyo / Climb Gokyo Ri (5357m) over night Lodge
Day 10 – Gokyo /Day Trip Scoundrel’s Point + Fifth Lake (5076m)
Day 11 – Cross Renjo La Pass (5360m) trek to Lungden (4380m) over night Lodge
Day 12 – Trek Kharka (4400m) over night tent camping
Day 13 – Day trip to Sunder Peak (5368m) trek back to Thame village
Day 14 – Trek Namche Bazar
Day 15 – Trek to Lukla
Day 16 – fly back to Ramechhap then drive to Kathmandu
Day 17 – Free day or sightseeing in Kathmandu evening farewell dinner from Mountain Experience.
Day 18 – Final departure transfer to airport and good bye.
